How to Change the Raid Times on Your SCUM Server

    2 min read·Updated Jul 22, 2026

Learn how to configure raid windows on your SCUM server using the RiverHosting panel so you can control exactly when players can attack bases and structures.

Raid times control when players on your SCUM server are allowed to attack and destroy player-built structures. Setting clear raid windows keeps gameplay fair, protects offline players, and helps your community agree on when competitive action happens. The RiverHosting panel gives you a dedicated page to manage this without editing any files by hand.

    Before you start

    • Make sure your SCUM server is set up and has started at least once.
    • Log in to the RiverHosting panel at panel.riverhosting.com.
    • You will need owner or administrator access to your server in the panel.
    • Raid time changes take effect after your server restarts, so plan to apply them during a quiet period.
    Let your players know

If you are changing raid times on an active server, announce the new schedule to your community before restarting. Unexpected changes to raid windows can frustrate players who were planning around the old times.

    1. Open the Raid Times page

    1. Log in to the RiverHosting panel.
    2. Select your SCUM server from the server list.
    3. In the left-hand menu, click Raid Times.

The Raid Times page shows your current raid schedule settings. From here you can define which days and hours raiding is allowed on your server.

    2. Configure your raid windows

    1. On the Raid Times page, review the current schedule that is displayed.
    2. Adjust the raid start and end times to match the hours you want raiding to be active. Times are typically set in 24-hour format, so for example 18:00 means 6 PM and 22:00 means 10 PM.
    3. If your panel allows day-by-day configuration, enable or disable raiding for each day of the week as needed. For example, you might allow raiding only on weekends, or exclude certain weekdays.
    4. When you are happy with your schedule, click Save or the equivalent save button shown on the page.
    Time zones matter

SCUM raid times are based on the server's system time, not the local time of your players. Check which time zone your server is in before setting times. You can see your server's region under Settings in the left-hand menu.

    3. Restart your server to apply the changes

Raid time settings do not take effect while the server is running. You need to restart the server after saving your changes.

    1. Go back to your server's main page.
    2. Click the Restart button at the top of the page.
    3. Wait for the server to fully start up again.
    4. Once the server is online, the new raid times will be active.
    Changes applied

After the restart, your new raid schedule is live. Players will only be able to raid during the hours you have configured.

    Troubleshooting

    • Raiding is still possible outside my set hours. Make sure you saved your changes before restarting. Go back to the Raid Times page and confirm the values are correct, then restart the server again.
    • I cannot find the Raid Times page. Check that you are looking at your SCUM server and not a different server in your account. The Raid Times page only appears for SCUM servers.
    • The times look correct but players say the schedule is wrong. The server clock may be in a different time zone than your players expect. Check the server location under Settings and factor in the time difference when setting your raid windows.
    • My changes disappeared after a restart. Make sure you clicked Save on the Raid Times page before restarting. If the issue keeps happening, try saving and then checking the page again before restarting to confirm the values were stored.
