We collect the following types of information:

• Account Information: Name, email address, and billing details when you create an account
• Payment Information: Payment card details (processed securely by our payment provider)
• Usage Data: Server usage statistics, login times, and service preferences
• Technical Data: IP address, browser type, and device information
• Communication Data: Messages sent through our support system
• Server Content and Backups: The files, worlds, configuration and logs stored on your game server, including in the automated backups we make of it (see Section 7)

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit and at rest, secure data centers, and regular security audits. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. After account deletion, we may retain certain information for legal, accounting, or fraud prevention purposes for up to 7 years.

Server backups. As part of our hosting service we make automated backups of your game servers for disaster-recovery purposes. These backups may contain personal data you or your players placed on the server (for example player names, in-game identifiers, chat or console logs, and plugin or mod databases). While your service is active we keep a rolling set of the most recent backups. When a server is deleted, cancelled or terminated, we keep a backup of it for a maximum of 3 months (90 days) from the date of deletion, so that a server removed by mistake or after non-payment can still be recovered. After that period the backup is permanently and irreversibly deleted from our systems.

If you want your backup data removed sooner, contact support from the email address on your account and we will delete it. By requesting this you agree that all backup data we hold for you is deleted and that the deletion is permanent; the data cannot be restored or recovered by us afterwards. See Section 20 of our Terms of Service for the full terms.

Under GDPR, you have the right to:

• Access: Request a copy of your personal data
• Rectification: Correct inaccurate information
• Erasure: Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten")
• Portability: Receive your data in a structured format
• Object: Object to certain processing of your data
• Withdraw Consent: Withdraw consent at any time

Erasure and backups. A request for erasure also covers the server backups described in Section 7. Because backups are stored as complete archives, we cannot remove individual records from them; we delete the archives themselves. If you ask us to erase your backup data, all backup data we hold for you is deleted permanently and cannot be restored or recovered afterwards, including any server, world or configuration that existed only in those backups. Erasure does not extend to information we are legally obliged to keep, such as invoices and accounting records.

Your data may be transferred to and processed in countries outside the EU/EEA. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as Standard Contractual Clauses, to protect your data in accordance with GDPR requirements.

Our services are not intended for children under 16 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have collected information from a child, please contact us immediately.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or through a prominent notice on our website. The "Last updated" date at the top indicates when the policy was last revised.
