How to Change the Admins on Your Palworld Server

Admin access on a Palworld server lets trusted players use in-game commands to manage the world, kick or ban players, spawn items, and keep things running smoothly. The RiverHosting panel makes it easy to set your admin password directly from the Server Config page, without needing to edit any files by hand.

Before you start

• Make sure your Palworld server is set up and has been started at least once.
• You will need to log in to the RiverHosting panel.
• Decide on a strong admin password before you begin. Share it only with people you trust.

1. How to set your admin password from the Server Config page

The quickest way to set or update your Palworld admin password is through the built-in Server Config page in the panel.

1. Go to panel.riverhosting.com and open your Palworld server.
2. In the left-hand menu, click Server Config.
3. Look for the admin password field. It is typically labelled something like Admin Password.
4. Enter the password you want to use for admin access.
5. Save your changes using the save button at the bottom of the page.
6. Restart your server so the new setting takes effect. You can do this from the Console page by clicking Restart.

2. How to use the admin password in-game

Once your admin password is set, you or any trusted player can activate admin access directly from inside Palworld.

1. Join your Palworld server as normal.
2. Open the in-game chat or console.
3. Type the admin login command followed by your password. In Palworld, the command is: /AdminPassword YourPasswordHere
4. Press Enter. If the password is correct, you will receive a confirmation message and your admin commands will be active for that session.

3. How to use the Admin Console in the panel

The RiverHosting panel also gives you a built-in admin console for running server commands without needing to be in-game.

1. Open your Palworld server in the RiverHosting panel.
2. In the left-hand menu, click Admin Console.
3. Type your command into the input field and press Enter or click the send button.
4. The console will display the server's response so you can confirm the command worked.

Troubleshooting

• The admin password command does not work in-game. Double-check that you saved the password in the Server Config page and restarted the server afterwards. A restart is required for the new password to load.
• The password field is blank in Server Config. If no admin password is set, admin commands will not be available in-game. Make sure you enter and save a value.
• Commands in the Admin Console do not seem to apply. Make sure your server is online and running before sending commands. Check the Console page to confirm the server status.
• A trusted player says the password is not working. Confirm they are typing it exactly as set, including any uppercase letters. Passwords are case-sensitive.
